Thing #3 is to subscribe to some pod casts. (RSS again.) I am finding that a little confusing. I went to NPR and clicked on the Books pod cast. It opened up a blank page. No instructions. I copied the blank page’s url and pasted it into Goggle reader. I think that was the right thing to do. Goggle Reader added a feed I think but I got an error message. “”NPR Podcast Error: Unknown ID” has no unread items.” I am not sure if i did something wrong or if there is just no pod cast available. Puzzling. More exploration needed.

I refuse to to do Thing #2!
Thing #2 is to set up an RSS reader and subscribe to several feeds. I refuse to subscribe to any more RSS feeds. i subscribed to Google Reader last summer. I am currently subscribed to 44 different feeds. (That is just my personal reader. I have another Google account at school, of course.)
I LOVE RSS!
I absolutely refuse to add another feed. You can’t make me. I will resist my addiction. I will not add another feed. I will not ….. well…. I suppose that I need to keep up with the SLJ Things….. but …. Just one more feed.
Information addiction must be fed. Feed me. Feed me….. Help!!!!
All Together Now: A 2.0 Learning Experience – Thing #1

I am starting this blog as a part of School Library Journal’s All Together Now: a 2.0 Learning Experience. Our first assignment was to create a blog. I have to confess that I have started a similar program last year. (See my first blog here ) I got to Thing 12 with the School Library Learning 2.0 program before school started last year. I had hoped to continue it this summer but didn’t get very far. When SLJ decided to start a similar project I decided to sign up. Hopefully I will get a little further. My old blog is at Blogspot but I noticed that SLJ wanted us to use WordPress or Edublogs. I decided to start a new blog here using Edublogs. One of my concerns was using Blogspot with kids. Edublogs looks like it might fit the bill better for educators. This blog site has several features that I have not worked with on Blogspot so hopefully I will pick up some new tricks.
